"With my 1.22m I am the shortest actor in Flanders. Due to my Achondroplasia, I suffer from major back problems. When I was eighteen I was exhausted due to all of the pain and surgeries. I couldn’t finish school or find a job so I had to stay at home. I wondered if that was what life had in store for me. Until I discovered acting. When I think about it, I’ve always been casted for “dwarf roles”. Which doesn’t bother me as I am one, but I would love to have the opportunity to play a “serious role” for once as for some reason people with Achondroplasia do not often get that opportunity. I am so ready to show the industry we also deserve an equal place next to all others."
